Archival Scanning and Digitization

Make your memories more accessible. Most of us have a box of family photos that are a daunting task to go through. Let them be seen by your whole family by uploading them to the cloud or other means of sharing.

I am set up to scan, archive and reprint photo collections. I recommend you go through photos and/or negatives to choose what you want to archive, if possible. Note:negatives are particularly more time consuming to scan. You should consider labeling names in photos (in pencil), so that future generations will understand the value these photos.

My Equipment:

Epson v700 scans up to 8×10 negatives with dust elimination software and 8.5×11 prints. Great for delicate prints!

The Epson FastFoto does wonderful quality scans of 8.5×11 and larger photos and documents (between 1 and 10 seconds per double-side scan!) Good for newer prints, especially 1-hour photo prints!

Canon 6D with light-box/copy stand for larger and 3D items. Photos and artwork that are exceptionally large can be digitally stitched from flatbed or copy stand images.
